Faculty at Eastern Oregon University, dissatisfied with President Khosrow Fatemi's financial stewardship of the La Grande school, on Wednesday approved a no-confidence vote on his leadership.
The vote demands that the university system chancellor and State Board of Higher Education review whether Fatemi should remain in office.
"What this represents is a profound worry that the present leadership is really harming the institution," said Greg Monahan, a history professor and president of the union representing Eastern faculty and librarians.
