Call for Papers

WOCC Panel: "'Laboring under these conditions': Women Writers of Color on Work, Class and Creativity"-Women of color have long written about the various conditions under which their characters have labored, with
outcomes ranging from exploitation and alienation to self-realization and potential. How do considerations of work and/or class enable us to analyze, understand, or appreciate creativity, whether literary or other? What connections exist between women's labor, in all senses of the word, and creativity? Explorations of these and other questions are welcome.
