Vancouver Library Workers Want Fair Agreement

The Bargaining Committee of CUPE 391 writes:
our message to the Employer is clear and has not changed. We want a fair collective agreement without concessions that deals with our local and key issues including pay equity, improved rights for part time and auxiliary workers, improved benefits and job security. We will meet with them anytime and anywhere to negotiate a fair agreement, including over the long weekend.

We know how hard this is for everyone, including our patrons, and we cannot tell you how much we respect and appreciate your endless strength and support. Every day we hear from you that we are doing the right thing by standing up for our rights.
